Enjoy the guided tour of the Sistine Chapel of America, the church of San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas, built by the Jesuits in the sixteenth century. Like other Spanish and religious constructions of this time, it was built on a Huaca or sacred place for the Incas. This beautiful Church made of adobe mudbricks is a small structure consisting of a Nave and Bell tower, has beautiful canvases with Gold Leaf frames, Murals from the Ceiling to the Floor and other hidden treasures that will leave us amazed, for this reason it is known as the “Sistine Chapel of America”.

10:40 amRaqchi archaeological complex

Explore the incredible archaeological site of Raqchi.

You will enjoy a 40-minute guided tour. The most important building within the archaeological complex is the temple of Wiracocha, according to ancient chroniclers was built by the Inca Wiracocha in honor of the Supreme God for the Andeans: Apu Kon Titi Wiracocha. The temple of Wiracocha was seen as a great construction for that time. Architecturally, it is classified as Kallanka, that is, a tall building completely covered with straw (wood and Andean straw). Externally, it is 92 meters long (302 feet) and 25.25 meters wide (83 feet).

Sicuani is a relatively large highland city. The town is an important intersection with the road to Puno/Arequipa passing through it. It is surrounded by very beautiful hills. You will enjoy a buffet lunch in our exclusive restaurant with a family atmosphere.

1:40 pmPassed "La Raya"

We will take great photos of La Raya pass, which is the border between Cusco and Puno. The Altiplano flows into Lake Titicaca and leads through the valley to Cusco and the Sacred Valley. The altitude is (4,338 m / 14,232 ft).

3:00 pmPucará Museum

Visit to the Pucará Museum.

Pucará was the first regional population center in the northern Lake Titicaca Basin during the Late Formative Period 500 BC-200 BC, and provided valuable information about the origins of the Andean civilization in the Altiplano. During its peak this Culture housed thousands of nobles, priests, artisans, farmers, shepherds and possibly warriors. The Pucará style is identified by impressive monolithic sculptures with a variety of geometric, zoomorphic and anthropomorphic images, plus a multicolored ceramic in a variety of ritual and domestic forms.
