Pukio Travel Peru is a Tourism Company that offers quality Programs, Tours and Travel Experiences, with reasonable and very competitive prices. We have a firm commitment to respect and comply with all legal and regulatory provisions that are applicable to us.

Thank you for choosing PUKIO TRAVEL PERU. We invite you, as our valued CUSTOMER, to carefully read the following Terms and Conditions, as they will act as your contract with the AGENCY. By booking travel with us you agree to abide by our Terms and Conditions and our cancellation policy, as well as certain limitations of liability.

The quote that we will send you will be valid for 60 days and will be subject to changes by the client and the travel agency. Our prices do not include personal insurance, international air fares or airport taxes in general.

Below is a summary of the key parts of our Terms and Conditions:

1. Your reservation with us

  • To secure a reservation, Pukio Travel Peru requires a completed Reservation Form (we will send you this reservation form with the quote or you can also find it on our website) and the deposit payment of 50% of the total price of the tour or program chosen by part of the client using our authorized payment methods. A reservation is accepted and becomes valid for us, only when we receive your initial payment.
  • The prices of our programs, tours and tourist experiences are expressed in US dollars.

2. Customer data

  • The client must present their original and current color scanned passport or identification card (DNI).
  • The client must provide all client details with their final payment, no later than 45 days before the start of the program, as last minute reservations are subject to a charge of USD $100.00. If the client does not provide all the client details no later than 45 days before departure, an additional fee of USD $50.00 will be added to the final price. If the client’s details have not been provided to the agency 30 days prior to the departure of the client’s trip, the agency reserves the right to consider the reservation as void and cancellation penalties will apply. Client details include:
    • Full name
    • Birthdate
    • Nationality
    • Passport number
    • Copy of passport details and medical form (where applicable)
    • Travel insurance policy.
    • International flight details.

3. Final payment and surcharges

The client must deposit the final payment no later than 45 days before the start of the program, since last-minute reservations are subject to a charge of USD $100.00, unless otherwise agreed with the agency and stated in the confirmation document sent by the agency. If the Client does not deposit the final payment on the stipulated date, the agency reserves the right to consider the reservation file as null and the due cancellation charges will be applied.

The agency reserves the power to adjust the price of the chosen program, taking into account the following elements: government actions, currency fluctuations, transportation costs (including the cost of fuel), airport charges and increases in scheduled airfares. If the surcharge results in an increase of more than 10% of the total price, including government taxes and modification fees, the client can decide to cancel the reservation within 7 days of notification of the surcharge and will receive a full refund. In this case, you will be notified no later than 6 weeks before departure.

4. Changes

The agency reserves the right to make Changes in the Program, if it is forced to cancel or change its program due to force majeure, (threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, industrial strike, terrorist activity, natural disaster, damages by fire or adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health) risks, technical or maintenance problems with means of transport, airports or ports closed or congested, changes imposed by the rescheduling or cancellation of flights by airlines, alteration of airlines or types of aircraft, etc.). the client will be informed at the time of booking or when that change occurs. If the agency makes important changes, it will inform the client as soon as possible, and if important changes occur, the client can choose between accepting these changes, postponing the trip or accepting any alternative program offered by the agency.

5. Cancellations made by the travel agency

The agency reserves the right to cancel any trip, even if it is guaranteed, at any time before departure, due to force majeure, to safeguard the safety and well-being of its clients (threat of war, riots, civil unrest , industrial strike, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire damage or adverse weather conditions, epidemics or health) risks, technical or maintenance problems with means of transport, airports or ports closed or congested, changes imposed by the rescheduling or cancellation of flights by airlines, alteration of airlines or types of aircraft, etc.). If the agency cancels a group trip for which you have a fully paid reservation, you can choose between an alternative trip or postpone the departure date of that trip.

Note: Scheduled airlines may impose 100% cancellation fees.

6. Cancellation made by the client

In the event that the client wishes to cancel a trip, cancellation charges will be imposed. These are calculated from the date the agency receives the written notice. The cancellation fees are as follows:

  • 75 or more days before departure: withholding of 50% of the deposit for administrative expenses and service penalties included.
  • 74 to 45 days before departure: 100% of the deposit.
  • 44 to 30 days before departure: 80% of the total price.
  • Less than 29 days before departure: 100% of the total price.
  • We advise and urge our clients to obtain a good trip cancellation insurance, at the moment they purchase a program from the agency.

7. Complaints and customer observations

If the client has a complaint or observation about any detail of the program or service, it is part of the Contract condition, that the client must inform our local representative directly after the problem has occurred. If you do not raise your complaint at that time, we will be denied the opportunity to investigate and rectify the problem and this will make the AGENCY unable to accept any form of responsibility for it.

If the client has a complaint that cannot be resolved at the place of the problem, they can write to us at admin@pukiotravelperu.com within 14 days of arriving home, we will investigate the problem to find the most correct solution.

8. Physical conditions

The client must be in optimal physical, emotional and mental conditions to carry out the reserved program, in case there is a cancellation due to these deficient health conditions, the cancellation conditions of article 6 will be valid.

9. Customer responsibilities

The client agrees to accept the authority and decisions of agency employees, tour leaders and agents during the trip. If in your opinion the health or conduct of a client, at any time, before or after departure, may jeopardize the safety and comfort of the group or the successful progress of a trip, that client may be excluded altogether. or part of it. If a client commits an illegal act, he/she can be immediately excluded from the trip and the agency will no longer directly assume any responsibility towards that person. Clients must, at all times, strictly comply with the laws and customs, as well as with the norms on currency exchange and regulation of the use of medicines of all the countries they visit. In addition, they must be in possession of and responsible for presenting a valid passport, a visa, if applicable, as well as vaccination certificates and insurance policies required for the entirety of their trip. Therefore, the client’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the date of return to their country. The client assumes full responsibility for obtaining all documents, certificates and permits, and is solely responsible for any adverse consequences resulting from missing or defective documentation. Any information or advice provided by the agency regarding visas, vaccinations, weather, clothing, luggage, special equipment, etc. it is given in good faith, but the agency is not responsible for any of this information and is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided. Please note that all travel documents related to the trip with Pukio Travel Peru such as coupons, itineraries, contracts and invoices will be sent by email, for your review and acceptance. Although the agency does its best to inform its clients to the best of its ability, clients are solely responsible for knowing the customs, weather conditions, physical challenges and laws in force at each stop along the itinerary, and we encourage you to make contact. 10. Responsibility of the travel agency

Many of the destinations offered by the agency are located in underdeveloped or developing cities and countries, in terms of basic infrastructure. Therefore, there may be delays, inconveniences or unforeseen events during a trip.

  1. In such cases, the agency will pay reasonable compensation if the client’s enjoyment of the program has been adversely affected. However, the agency will not pay any compensation if there has been no fault on the part of the agency or its suppliers, or if the problem was due to the fault of the client, or to actions taken by someone outside the agreements of the program or for an event or event that neither the agency nor its providers could have anticipated or prevented, even if all necessary precautions had been taken.
  2. If the client suffers death or personal injury as a result of an activity that is part of the program arrangements booked through Pukio Travel Peru, the agency will assume responsibility, unless there was no fault on the part of the agency or on the part of the client. of its providers, or if the failure was due to the client’s fault, or to actions taken by someone outside the program arrangements, or to an event that neither the agency nor its providers could have anticipated or prevented, even if all due care had been been taken previously.
  3. The acceptance by the agency of the responsibility to pay compensation, as indicated in clauses 10 (a) and 10 (b), is limited, in the case of travel by air, rail and sea or in a hotel , to the amount established, respectively, in the provisions of the Warsaw Convention, modified by the Den Hague Protocol of 1955, the Berne Convention of 1961, the Athens Convention of 1974 and the Paris Convention of 1962.

11. Flights and delays

We cannot accept responsibility for cancellations, schedule changes or delays to any of your flights, whether the cancellation, delay or changes are due to inclement weather, airline rescheduling, airport authority and / or to the action of air traffic controllers, breakdown or industrial action. In cases where flight delays result in lost vacation time, hotels or service providers do not provide refunds. Similarly, airlines do not offer compensation for flight delays. However, at their discretion, attendants will endeavor to minimize the inconvenience of any delay by providing meals and lodging, as appropriate for the time of day or night (depending on local availability). If you incur payment for such services in the event of a delay, the agency will not accept responsibility for payment unless we have given our prior written consent to the passenger’s email.

12. Conditions with service providers

Airline, rail, bus and shipping companies, as well as other service providers have their own booking terms and conditions, and you will be bound by them as regards the provider or the relevant transportation provider. Some of these conditions may limit or exclude liability on the part of the relevant transport provider, and are also often subject to various international regulations.

13. Errors and omissions

While the agency has made a concerted and exhaustive attempt to verify the accuracy of the statements made in this document, the agency is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inadvertent misrepresentations that may appear on this form or in promotional documentation and the site. agency website.

14. Privacy Policy

We will only provide your personal information, as well as any personal information you provide to us, in relation to individuals whose travel arrangements have been requested by you; to suppliers and carriers, in order to allow the operation of the services requested by you. 15. Prices and arrangements

Program prices quoted are based on current exchange rates, duties and taxes. Therefore, the agency reserves the right to increase its prices to cover the increased costs, duties and taxes received after the prices are published, and to reflect fluctuations in the currency markets, as indicated in articles 3 and 4 of this document.

 

16. Policies with children

On all programs, unless otherwise stated, the maximum age for a child is 11 years and 11 months. Children 12 years and older are considered adults and will be subject to full adult rates.

17. Photography during the trip

Agency staff reserve the right to take photographs throughout the duration of any program or part of it and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a show through the agency, our clients agree to allow the agency to use these images. If a participant does not wish to appear in the images used by the agency, they are asked to identify themselves to their Tour Leader at the beginning of their program, to inform them of this.

18. Last minute reservations

For any reservation made within 15 days of departure, an additional fee of USD $100.00 will be charged to the reservation, to secure it and cover last minute administrative costs.
